Inclement Weather / Excessive Heat Policy for Summer Camp:
During excessively hot weather, our camps may modify the daily camp schedule. Typically, outdoor camps will spend part of the morning outside on the tennis courts, before spending time at the pool area in the afternoon. The camp activities are modified and children are provided activities better suited to hot weather if that becomes an issue.

Safety is our number one priority at all times, and we are extremely mindful of the weather. If we see or hear a thunderstorm approaching, the outdoor camp programs are immediately brought inside as we take extreme precaution to ensure that all campers are safe. In the event of inclement weather, i.e. thunder and lightning, the children are brought inside a safe sheltered area at the club during the period of thundering and/or lightning. At those times, our instructors offer alternate indoor fun games and activities. The Lead Instructor will reach out to all the campers' parents notifying them that the club is closed due to the thundering and/or lightning. The instructors will monitor the weather and update the parents if it changes and the club decides to reopen. The instructors will continue to supervise the campers during the camp hours even if the club is closed, but the parents have the option to pick up their child(ren) earlier. Camp will continue with their normal day in the event of just rain, with activities slightly modified.

On rainy days we will have many options for staying out of the rain, but we also love to play in the rain (except on the tennis courts). Before camp begins campers will advised about what to bring to stay warm and dry if they choose to come to camp on these types of weather days. If there will be all-day rain in the forecast, then ProsToYou Tennis will inform all campers by 7:00am on the day in question with two options: 1) Camp is still on with modified activities throughout the day OR 2) Campers can receive credit for a make-up camp day. Camp will never be canceled simply for rain.
