Permanent (Equity) members here are some answers to common questions:1. Dues are paid annually - invoicing is solely via the primary member's email address, with renewal notices sent in late January or early February. Check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox. MSTA does not send paper invoices - this saves the club money so we can spend those dollars on things that better benefit our members.
2. Pay by March 1st for a discount, but pay after April 1st and you pay a late fee. Please pay early or on time as the club uses these funds to gear up for our busy spring and summer events.
3. Not using your membership this year? You can temporarily rent your membership to another party from April 1st - March 31st, but you must complete the Request to Rent Form (found HERE). Rentals are handled first come, first served, and there are no guarantees we can find a renter for your membership, BUT if you refer a renter to the club we will transfer your membership rights directly to that person once they successfully join the club. If we do rent your membership you will be relieved of dues for that membership year. While your membership is rented the only privilege you retain is the right to vote at membership meetings.
4. Leaving the club? If you want to terminate your membership you must complete the Request to Sell Form (found HERE). We will sell your equity to the next available member and return your equity fee at that time. Again, if you refer a permanent member to the club we will sell your equity directly to that person once they successfully join the club.
5. We love referrals! For every new rental or equity member you refer to the club, we will pay you $100. Refer two new members and we will pay you $200, and so on.
