MSTA offers our members Individual or group Swim Lessons taught by Marlins Coaches or Marlins senior swimmers. Lessons are currently not available to non-members.  *** REGISTRATION FOR 2021 IS NOW OPEN! ***

Individual Lessons

Individual Lessons can be arranged directly through one of our Marlins Coaches. Please see the Marlins Coach Page for more information.

Group Lessons

Group Lessons are taught by Marlins senior swimmers with supervision by Olivia Gore, the Head Coach for the Future Marlins and Swim Lessons. The program offers five levels of group instruction from familiarity with the water to stroke development.

 16 Months – 3 Years (middle pool and main pool)Gentle instruction, learn to relax in water safely. 
 23 – 5 years Swimmers introduced to large pool. Basic skills: bubbles, floating with assistance only. 
 3 4 – 6 YearsAble to submerge independently; stroke readiness. 
 4 4 – 7 YearsBasic freestyle and backstroke. 
 55 – 8 Years  Freestyle, backstroke, and diving safety skills; learning to swim lengths.

Group lessons are held from 12 noon - 12:30 pm, Monday - Thursday with Friday being a make-up day if necessary. Each weekly session is $45. You can sign up for group lessons on our Registration page.

For the 2021 summer season there will be 6 sessions: 

Session 1: June 14-17
Session 2: June 21-24
Session 3: June 28-July 1 
Session 4: July 5, 6, 8, 9 (No lessons on Wed. 7/7/21 due to Relay Carnival Swim Meet)
Session 5: July 12, 13, 15, 16 (No lessons on Wed. 7/14/21 due to All Star Relays Swim Meet)
Session 6: July 19-22
